There are many OEMs based in Ireland, and they have driven growth and diversity over the last 15 years. Hitech Plating has responded to the demands of both OEMs and Irish indigenous manufacturers, gaining much experience.

Initial activities centered around plating metal onto metal - electroless and electrolytic. In the mid 90's research and development, supported by Irish Government Agencies, laid the way for Hitech Platings pioneering entry into the plating on plastics marketplace. This new technology opened up further opportunities in powder coating and painting to the highest quality.

Hitech Plating acquired a new facility in Dublin in 1999. New processing equipment is now in place and includes state of the art computer controlled water treatment plant.

This plant permits all manufacturing processes to be carried out using best possible environmental practices, and paves the way for continued growth ... and beyond.

The water treatment provides for flexibility thus enabling a wide variety of finishes to be available, making optimum use of the fully automated plating lines. A policy of using best equipment, methods and materials available in all areas of the business, coupled with a belief that development and training of all employees contributes to the ongoing success of the company and absolute adaptability to meet the continually changing needs of our customers.
